Starting with one week in Amsterdam one year ago, RWW has grown to an even wider program across two weeks, featuring both refugee-led cultural events and community actions across five cities in the Netherlands.
Over two weeks, nearly 2,000 guests engaged with RWW through community dinners, performances, workshops, film screenings, conversations, and community actions across the Netherlands around radical hope and courage.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening of Refugee Welcome Week at Pakhuis de Zwijger! An Evening on Truth was a reminder of why we continue to organize events with radical hope at the core.
Radical hope is not passive optimism. It is about choosing to organize for a better future, even when the outcome is uncertain. Our keynote speaker, David Yambio, reminded us of what radical hope looks like in practice. Through refugee-led organizing, advocacy, and solidarity, him and his colleagues continue to fight for dignity, justice, and freedom for refugees trapped in Libya.
