“As a former newcomer, I know from personal experience what it feels like to arrive in an unfamiliar society: with language barriers, unspoken expectations, and systems you have to learn to navigate on your own. This also drives her to advocate for municipalities to work more with these individuals. In this publication, she explains more about what key figures actually do and don’t do, shares her insights on their importance, and evaluates how their role is currently being implemented.
